Tomorrow is March 1 and I have a commitment that might prevent me from enjoying a pipe. So, I thought I would kick it off a day early. Let’s see your Meerschaums - and I don’t mean the ones made from corn!

Tnx @PappyJoe I'll join you tomorrow, as I'm sure many others will.
I don't know about the rest of you, but I tend to leave my meerschaums in the rack most of the year. MMM gives me the motivation to give my meerschaums the time they deserve.
As @PappyJoe already said, "Let's see your meerschaums!"

Well, here it is, just past 12:00AM....time for MMM🙂. This evening....mmmm....morning, I am smoking some Panama Jack “Key Lime” in this little’ol dragon meer😬. Also enjoying a nightcap of Makers Mark in a Bourbon Flip cocktail.

I was trying to clench that Dragon meer and take a pic, but the stem Delrin junction was a bit wobbly. I noticed that the threaded sleeve in the stummel (Is it still a stummel when it is meerschaum and not briar?) was partially broken and seated too far in the shank. Luckily I have a few spares and with a bit of modification, got it to fit. Now the stem is tight and I can clench the pipe...although not an optimal situation. I will say, having those wings in the way and a steeply forward canted bowl made this pipe tough to light.

Had time yesterday for a second pipe. This was one of the first estate pipes I bought at a flea market about 7 years ago. It was unsmoked at the time but the first time I smoked it a micro-hairline crack opened on the stummel. The second time I smoked it, I "painted" the crack with superglue to keep it from breaking. I kept it as a "work of art" and smoke it maybe once a year - usually in March.

Funny, The first time I played pickle ball was last spring when I took my road trip delivering machines, the friend I stayed with and a few other of our old friends had a “tournament”. We also played some game where you threw “sticks” at other “sticks” (kings) I think they were called....I don’t remember the name of the game though🤔. They were both pretty fun.

For 2 days I've been doing battle with a would be sinus infection. Thankfully I managed to stop it in its tracks.
So I'm celebrating with some SWR in my CAO Cavalier... I don't know about you, but I sometimes tend to forget just how good the "old blends" still are...

Those pipes are so cool. I need to get me a meerschaum. Im looking for the pipe bowl and claw that was shown in P&C abut never saw it online.

I've bought two pipes from them and have been very happy with them.

P&C gets its pipes from Meerschaum Depot and the one pipe I bought from Meerschaum Depot was cracked when I received it so it had to be replaced.
