I love all the old ad's they were all great. The Ty Cobb is awesome, The Georgia peach was one of the first professional sports player's to really sell his name to advertiser's. I had a good friend Roy he was Ray Shock's Grandson he was the catcher with the White Sox, he was there during the Black sox scandal. Ray was good friend with Ty Cobb, like most ball players in those days, they drank heavily, so as Ray got drunk Ty would take his money off the bar, and invest it for him in some of the companies he was indorsing. Later he would give Ray the stock. At first ray got made but when he seen the stock he realized he would have just drink the money anyway. So in the end he was heavily invested in some great companies Like Coke, Pepsi , and American Airlines , So Ty made Ray a very rich man. Just something for my bin of useless knowledge.
