Smoking some Captain Black “Red Sky” in the Savinelli Double Filter. This time I used a 9mm adapter in place of any filter in the first spot and a 9mm balsa filter in the second. It smokes much better. I guess that is why they don’t make the Double Filter pipes anymore. It smoked cool and didn’t nix the flavors👍🏻
Enjoying and feeling like Royalty in an MM Pride while the turkey cooks on the rotisserie grill behind me. My wife took this picture of me taking a selfie for this post.
@motie2, I get what you say about Xmas Spice, I kind of think of it as a safe blend, can’t go wrong with it. I wish it had a bit more taste and room note, but I think that about a lot of the blends I get. I’m digging the BP& Egg Nog.
Yesterday I pulled out my last jar of Sherlock Holmes to solve a two pipe problem. The problem was I was what to smoke in the two pipes and the solution was Sherlock Holmes.
Smoking the first bowl in my newly refurbed pipe. Tonight it’s Newminster “Oriental Pipe Cut”. I’m somewhat surprised how much darker the pipe’s patina got after just one bowl.
Yesterday was a system Saturday; Dunhill Flake in a Smoth Standard 317 Dunhill Flake in an Ebony 303 Peretti Cambridge Flake in a Rusticated 303
I finished the Cambridge Flake while feeding and watering the animals and am enjoying EMP in an MM Diplomat accompanied by a cup of Ethiopian Sidama coffee. Life is Good!
@RockyMountainBriar , Ok the March 24 pic of that pipe with the awesome stem is really cool and I want the ashtray you have too. If you can send it to me next week that would be great 🤪
I was more or less taking inventory of my "cellar" yesterday and at the bottom of one chest, I found a tin of Father the Flame which was produced in April 2017. It was slightly bulging at both the bottom and the top. Put it this way, the bulge at the bottom was enough where the tin wouldn't sit flat on my desk. I popped the seal on it this morning and it smells downright edible. I loaded it into my Sailing Ship meerschaum instead.
@PappyJoe Yea, that tin of “Union Square” was a “Weeble” too🙂. I may have to visit that tobacconist again. I know they had three more of those tins, and at least another blend with the same bulging.
Beautiful day here in NC. Just took the beagle with me for a walk in the woods. We had a great time looking at nature.
When we got back at home, we decided to relax with some good wine and a pipe. Vinny decided to take a nap. I'm enjoying some petite petite wine and some LL7 in my bent Rossi Rubio in blue.
Following up System Saturday with System Sunday, one Dunhill Flake folded fluffed and inserted in a Peterson 305. Paired that with a Woodchuck hard cider now enjoying a Vermouth and sparkling water.

Now that's funny. Great picture though.

BP & EggNog. Mmmmmmmm, perfect together. Just wish Egg Nog had a different name...... like “Navy Grog.” Yeah, that’s the ticket!
What’s so bad about eggnog for a blend name?

The little Dublin is one I made, I don’t think I can part with it.

Enjoy the evening boys.
Beautiful picture of the creek, brother!
Dapper as usual, Brother!
