Well they just locked down Illinois, heading out to the liquor store to top of my supplies, (though it's not like I don't have enough) And to think we used to hide under our desks in our youth and look at us now.
A bowl of SPC Wildman in a Peterson 303 system pipe for the ride.
I'd show you all my firearms, but it would be too much of a hassle to get them all out at once. And besides, I'd have to pan back so far to get them all in a picture, that you wouldn't be able to make out half of them...🤐
I live in New Germany (New Jersey). I am sad to say all of my guns and every bit of ammo was lost some years ago in a horrible boating accident. I am contemplating starting a Butterfly Collection to keep in my poor empty gun safe now.
@Balisong No, the winged insects. Or seashells, leaves, or something else that a certain sect of our society (that dislikes guns, but I don't want to get political) will approve of. (sorry ending a sentence with a preposition)
Decided to get my mower ready for the year. Breaking a self-imposed protocol while taking a break from yard work. Rather than a meerschaum, as I've been doing all this month, I'm using MM cob filled with my second bowl of Sutliff County Cork. Later, after I've finished and cleaned up, I'll do a makeup smoke with one of my meerschaums...
One of the great things about the age of enlightenment which ended when we entered the Coronavirus dark ages was our ability to go out into the world and seek friendship and fellowship with other humans. That is how I discovered Esoterica's St. Ives pipe tobacco. This wondrous place which used to be open, called a pipe shop, had bags of blends for sell by the mystical Esoterica and I bought a bag. Six months later, I have opened it and have started smoking it.
Admittedly, the first bowl didn't seem to offer much. But I had just grabbed a briar off the shelf and packed the bowl. Then a couple of weeks ago, I tried it again in a meerschaum I had wiped out the bowl and run a pipe cleaner through. I could taste the Virginias, a little of the latakia and a little of the fruit. There was a nuance of coffee also. Since then, with nothing else to do, I have started cleaning my briars. St. Ives is a very relaxing blend, perfect for loading into a de-ghosted briar, meerschaum or corn cob and enjoying whilst reading Tolkien.

Well it's snowing here, not sticking to the pavement but maybe an inch on the lawns and absolutely no wind.
Made a 50 / 50 mix of Capt Earls 10 Russians and Arango Balkan Supreme, loaded in a full bent Joby billiard.
Since it was snowing lightly and there was no wind I took a walk, I was amazed at how quiet it was, road and air plane noise virtually missing, was nice.

Now I want some Malted Milk
I have to say, I have more pipes than firearms and knifes combined.
Hmm...I forgot to mention, I was smoking my Wally Frank Amber Stemmed Meerschaum billiard nosewarmer with some BCA.
