Update: I didn't care for the Paladin Black Cherry I smoked earlier today. I will do what I usually do with any cherry blend to make it more palatable for me. I will be adding an equal amount of Black Cavendish to it and that should make it a decent smoking blend. The original mixture smoked a little hot, and if I didn't carefully sip, I could feel the beginning of tongue bite. I'll try to give another report later on when I come back to this jar...
@Bentbrier You pipe hits 2 of a few qualifiers I value in a pipe. I'm partial to bents (especially bulldogs) and I love acrylic stems. Again... Nice pipe...
@ocpunk714 ~ This is the Arango Balkan Supreme blended by Peter Stokkebye. Good stuff! I've only seen it in bulk though. I'm getting ready to order a pound or two. I'll send you some to try when I get it in.
Smoked some Dunhill London Mixture in my Peterson Rusticated billiard this morning before heading out for work. Suppose to be in the mid 70s today so I put the tin and my pipe in my briefcase just in case I can find some time later to go outside for a smoke or perhaps after work I will head to one of the parks for a smoke.
@Kmhartle Awesome! Thanks. I have a few things almost ready for the summer club package.
Interesting because I have a Balkan Supreme from PipesandCigars that came in bulk. It didn’t have a brand name with it, but I bought it as a sampler with some Peter Stokkebye Proper English.
Testing a small bowl of another blend I did this weekend with the Sutliff Stoved Black Virginias. It’s got the White Burley and a very, very sparing amount of Latakia. No name yet. The flavor does carry a coca/coffee type taste. The room note is pleasant.
@jfreedy, this is one of my favorites. A good mix of Virginia with a kick. It's smooth but strong. Smokes slow and cool, nice aroma. No bite. Take your time with this one. The slower the better.
Smoked a bowl of Stanwell Vanilla mixture this morning in my Rossi Canadian before heading to work. Forgot I had this last tin so I decided to smoke it. Not bad for the first smoke of the day.
Captain Black White in a small "rusticated" Baricini Briar earlier this afternoon, a mixture of Nording Hunter Labrador and Lane Vanilla Black Cavendish in a "rusticated" Jarl Briar

Great night.
