Thank you @ocpunk714. I know the setting isn’t glamorous, but when the weather is cold or extremely windy I’m forced to the garage vs. my back pourch. All for the love of the hobby.
Damn The Pipe Nook! I was all settled in my warm, comfy room watching Eddie do a Flake vid on YouTube then BAM. I got the itch for some Luxury Navy Flake. Added a pinch of Cornishman from TCS and it is a burn/smoke I haven’t felt before. It’s like being kissed by angels with billowing wafts of pleasurable delight. Lol. Now my butt is out in the cold, concrete atrium. I love this life!
@motie2 Just a dusting this morning and not doing anything at the moment here in Connecticut, though I understand the End of Days is coming any hour now. Just wrapped up a bowl of Second Breakfast with some "Donut Coffee" from...Stop & Shop(?).
May be a little off topic since I'm not smoking them RIGHT NOW. But I just received a shipment from P&C and I'll be trying 2 of them very shortly. I replenished my Molto Dolce with a new tin. The next 2 I've never tried and really looking forward to it: moontrance and 5 oz. Sutliff's Creme Brulee...
You are going to LOVE that Creme Brulee. I have read some posts in which it is said to be the 'bulk" version of the Sutliff Molto Dolce of which I do not necessarily agree. I THINK I can detect slight differences.
The Creme Brulee is a wonderfully sweet smoke......enjoy.
I agree with @pwkarch -- Creme Brulee is close to being a bulk form of Molto Dolce; similar, but not identical. I found the Molto Dolce to be sweeter. But if you like the one, you'll probably like other. I've smoked several Sutliff Private Stock tinned varieties, and found Barbados Plantation, a rum blend, to be the one for me.
I agree with the "Gentleman from New Jersey" (watching CSPAN and I couldn't resist that).....my personal choice between Creme Brulee and Molto Dolce (besides the Creme Brulee being dryer as a bulk) is the CB as it seems to smoke better, and when you are done you are not in what feels like a syrupy sugar coma.
And my friend Motie is on spot. If you like the Creme Brulee and/ or the Molto Dolce, you would do yourself a favor to try his favorite Barbados Plantation......I think all of the Sutliff "Private Stock" would be suggested. Actually, the only Sutliff Blends that I have not liked are those with Latakia, just my opinion of course.

Currently, I'm smoking Blockade Runner in my Peterson XL14.
Yeah, me too.... as the snow continues to fall in Northern NJ....
