its been slow at work so today during a bit of down time I made a tamper out of a 44 mag shell and a bit of Maple dowel I had laying around. I added sterling bands and a rose quartz bullet shaped stone to the end. If nothing else, it will be my work tamper from now on.
I bid on a tamper at the Chicago show silent auction and won the one on the left for $10, its Cocobolo
The one in the middle I got from Larry L. Blackett (buttons4yourbritches) as he had a table at the show, it was $30 bucks but I had to have it as it sums up my personal philosophy these days.
The one on the right is morta from Davorian as I blew the farm and bought one of his pipes.
Finished this tamper today. It's deer antler with a sterling silver end cap. In the base is a cut down video game token. I liked the eagle on the side that didn't say "one free game"

Here's one I made from a wooden dowel. When completed, I just stuck a tack in the end...
Keep it in the garage... works great...
Deer Antler?
And its waaay cooler than I thought. It's got some weight too!
That's awesome 😎
