Softy Bits

Hello Pipe and Tobacco Aficionados, I hope all is well and that you are having a great day. Here is my question for some of the professionals out there. "Softy Bits", appear to come in one size and they seem to be too large for the smaller stem/tips like the tips you find on corn cob and smaller pipes. What do "you" do in this case and do you have any suggestions as to what one should use as a softy bit ? Open for any feedback and or suggestions concerning this issue. Remember, smoke what you like and like what you smoke. Stay safe out there.

I went shpping for Softy pipe bits (American made) on several sites and found them in three sizes: 6, 7, and 9 millimeters.

Check again: I wrote shpping.... no i. 🤪
At least I didn’t write shtupping. That would be rude. <giggle>
For really thin stem pipes, you can get some black shrink wrap tubing at a hardware store like Lowes or Home Depot. I find a pack that had several different diameters in black for a couple of my pipes. I washed the tubing and then dipped in drinking alcohol before using. You can then stretch a piece over the stem and make it as long as you want it. It's not as thick as a soft bit so some pipe smoker find it more comfortable. It still provides cushioning for your teeth and protection for the stem.
Right, right, right. I should have also referred you to @PappyJoe ........
How soon people forget....
Don’t hate me because I’m getting senile. I’m also cute and cuddly.......
Senile I can live with.
If you think you're cute & cuddly then maybe you are senile...
LOL
Wait. Who said I’m cute and cuddly?
I don’t remember saying that.
