I was on YT live chat last night with Simon from “London is calling”. He is the YT presenter and pipe maker from London that Kent Wheeled Piper 2 mentioned. I asked him if he wanted to come on “t”This Pipe Life” as a guest and he said he would love to come on, but he could not do Fridays. @Pinney Are you from the "Pinelands" of New Jersey.....that is the only place I have ever heard of "Pinneys", which were a lot of my ancesters up toward Pemberton,Mount Holly, the Fort Dix area. I LOVE the "Pine Barrens". Welcome aboard. I am just a few miles south on the other side of the Mullica River.
This Friday with Jody Davis will be the regular time as always. Please feel free to invite other pipe smoking enthusiasts to join us even if they're not on TPL.
It was a great meeting last night listening to Jody's stories about pipe-making, touring as a professional musician and how the two intermingle. If you missed it here are the links to the recording.
So, if our wonderful premier of Ontario does what is in the news Ontario will be put on Province wide lockdown at 12:01am on the 24th of December. Christmas eve day. If this happens I will be online at the regular time for anyone who wants to come and because, well, I will literally have nothing better to do. I'll keep you posted, but I don't think it's not going to happen.
Ontario enters lock down on dec 26, however our family get together is being postponed anyway to a future date when things get cleared up. The short version is see anyone who isn't busy on the 25th.
