Old "SKOOL" Tobacco Lovers

Hello Pipe and Tobacco Aficionados/ P&T Family. I would like to share with you pipe and tobacco lovers from "Way Back" that I found a (sealed) can of tobacco. I had this can of tobacco for a very long time in storage, not on purpose, I just had it and never opened it. I remember the establishment was going out of business and the owner was selling all of his signature blends of tobacco and I managed to obtain a few cans/tins. The establish was "The Smoker LTD", ever heard of it, located in Albany, NY at that time. I have a can of the "Favorite" blend. Any information out there in reference to this establishment and it's tobacco blends. Thanks, on standby.

What did you think about their pipe tobacco blends and how long have they actually been out of business, if you have that information ?

If you do a search on tobaccoreviews.com for Mel Feldman a list of his blends will come up. The brand name was "The Smoker" and 15 of the 22 listed are rated 3 or 4 stars.
The Favorite was an English blend and only received a two star rating.

Can't say I remember the place, but then i was only there for 6 to 9 months in '73-74. The Captain of the Port offices were up in the old post office building at the time.

Thanks for the information. If the “Favorite Blend” only had two stars back when I purchased it (1980’s), maybe it found another star or two since then. It has had enough time. Thanks once again.
