Well it's good to know the threat of the deeming Regulations hasn't stopped blenders from creating news blends. I just hate to discover a new favorite only to have it disappear just as quickly when the rules do go into effect.
I hope you're both right about this. If in fact manufacturers are still creating more and more new blends, that's a good sign that the industry feels good about its future. The Deeming regs have been blunted somewhat, with some provisions being temporarily put on hold, but I'm still not convinced the industry is out of the woods. In fact, it never will be in all likelihood.
I am most hopeful with the companies that have been around for many years before the deeming date. Are they able to re-introduce old discontinued blends?
