St. Paddy's Day 2019
May I be the first to wish all of you a happy, healthy, and safe St. Patrick's Day 2019.
I'm not Irish, but I had the honor of escorting a former Lord Mayor of Dublin, Robert Briscoe, of blessed memory, around the campus back in the early/mid 1960's.
And my favorite restaurant in northern NJ is an Irish pub (Shepherd's Pie and a Pint!).
I couldn't decide between these two illustrations:

No Irish Whisky today though, I finished off my Jameson in December and haven't bought a new bottle yet.

The blog/article I read professed that there were no snakes “the reptile” ever in Ireland....is this known for sure? I can see the symbolism, not arguing that, but I was not there...and I am pretty sure anyone living today was not either😬. I’m not taking sides here, just thinking🤔
