@OlePops. If it's any consolation, Sunset Rum is one of my 5 top go-to blends... Individual tastes being what they are, that blend always gives me a pleasant experience... IMHO
@KA9FFJ - I can't say there's a thing in this world wrong with your taste. It's in my top 2. I have a top 5 and being that it's in the top 2 it's also in the top 5. It'd be kind of a quandary if it made the top 2 but not the top 5...but it does. In my opinion, that's how numbers work. But shoot, you don't give a "PI" about my opinion. Course, without a "PI" an opinion would just be an onion. What I wondered was why some B&Ms like to change the names of tobaccos. Our local B&M thinks "Sunset Rum" sells better if they call it "Tennessee Sunset". Well, once I found out what they were really selling me as "Tennessee Sunset" for $6 oz. I could get in bulk for $3 online, well the bells and whistles went off. Mystery solved.
That's right @OlePops. There are a few here on TPL (you may possibly be one of them), that have an extremely sensitive pallet. I am not one of them (too many sinus infections growing up and continuing into my 30's). Some here have put together lists of "same/similar blends... different names". Somebody help me out and let OlePop know where they're located... @motie2 ?
@KA9FFJ - Who would have thought this morning when I got up out of bed that before the day was over I would have used the word olfactory in two different posts? Wow! What a crazy world! Seriously tough, Ole'Pops doesn't have the olfactory system of a Bassett Hound or anything, but I do know what I like. The way I knew that they were changing names of the tobaccos is I came in one day and caught them refilling canisters. Seems as though BWLB is "Feels Alive" and 1Q is "Boro's Best" and of course you know about the Sunset Rum. I asked him about it. He said it was all colloquial. They sell better in the South that way. I say straight up "BS"! You can charge twice as much when they don't know what their buying.
