@Montecristo Cats aren't easy! A vet taught me to open their mouth, put the pill in as far as possible, hold their mouth closed and blow gently at their nose while giving a gentle scratch under their neck until you feel them swallow.
I recently stumbled onto this long, but thought provoking video about a Garfield the Cat comic strip. This guy spent over an hour waxing philosophically about the comic. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NAh9oLs67Cw&t=1833s
KA9FFJ Sorry, fingers are not working well here. Hand Salute to you Marine. I have been fighting the big C and have not been online for conversations and such. I do need to get back to some normal activities. I just heard from Motie2 today as well. I will try and get on here more often. Do to financial issues I cannot afford to spend too much time on pleasurable sites to chat and such, but I will try. I spend many hours on computer work to bring in a little money. When this crap with Cancer started we wound up having to declare Medical Bankruptcy. It has been tough since then. We count mostly on my VA Disability and our Social Security so we have to go without a lot. Meanwhile I have over 60 ball jars of varying sizes FILLED with Pipe Tobacco so that is taken care of and has had about 8 years aging and they are mellow as hell. I also have some of my favorite blends in the larger metal cans unopened from some years ago. Some day I will or my wife will have a very desired collection of well aged tobaccos. Oh to get old. There were times taking sea mines out that I was not sure I would make it to now. Merry Christmas to you and Motie (and Families) and anyone else that sees this post.
@Montecristo Our cat since 2018 recently passed, and we went back to the same shelter and adopted Maxi, an American Shorthair (feline mutt). Nothing special to look at (I wanted a cool looking cat) but he sold us with a BIG personality.

Rescued from a hoarding house situation.
Still feral after six years with us.

Your new puppy?
Yes sir. The runt of a Jack Russell terrier litter. Super cute.
