I had to go and see the other views, It probably works in the contest of a reverse calabash but it seems impractical for actual smoking and yes if you want to attract attention than smoke that pipe.
@Zouave I can't believe you are using a pipe as the butt of your jokes Is there an end to the humor? Gives new meaning to the phrase "running a pipe cleaner through it"
@Zouave Yep, those Ragaire are nasty looking pipes…..in my opinion. Laudisi/Peterson is getting rid of more sub-standard stummels as cheaply as possible, not even adding the cost of a nickel band, again, just my opinion.
there has been a fair amount of ripping Peterson apart, and in some cases rightly deserved. However......these Savinelli pipes are just rediculous and f-ing ugly beyond belief. Also priced around $1000!!!
@RockyMountainBriar I can't imagine any scenario where I could smoke those pipes and not be laughed out of the room. They look like decorations stollen off a childs mobile.

Oink, Oink.
That last pipe pictured doesn't look that bad... IMHO...

OMG. That's some funny shit!
That’s probably, exactly, what is smoked in that nasty thing.

That’s a valid observation….but I’m not that thin skinned, so laugh away😂😂
Laughing is good for the soul.
You have to admit, though, they are quality made Could you imagine the Neanderthals at the Peterson factory carving as artistically as that?
Actually, the grain pattern revealed by the sandblasting is quite striking...
