Thanks @motie2 I’ve really enjoyed all of your insights and info. I’ve stumbled across in my short time on TPL. Always a fan of haiku and feel that it is very appropriate to enjoying a pipe, especially while outdoors.

That form which holds tobacco
Brings much happiness
Here's a short one for the holidays. Nothing artsy, but I think it's fitting.
Frosty and Santa
Smoke their pipes at the North Pole
Puffing Christmas cheer.
The smoke rises in the wind
Like prayers to God
Here's a haiku for the brutal weather we've been having.
Wind chills to the bone,
An arctic blast bellows south,
Numbing nerves and skin.
Oh dear briar pipe,
How I wish to fill your bowl,
But it's too darn cold.
Winter's spell has been broken.
Begone bitter chill.
Welcome Spring and sun.
The porch is open once more.
For outside piping.
I like to smoke a pipe when...
Hey look, a spider!
Is this yours, Sir?
The spring is quite warm.
I smoke my pipe with good friends,
And I feel at peace
Missouri Meerschaum packed tamped
now where’s the matches?
book and brew within my reach
overwhelming peace

Where did autumn go?
Chased off by a strong north wind.
Still, I smoke my pipe.
sweet to taste ensnaring time
an hour is consumed
Brings back nostalgic mem'rys,
Of great men long missed.
A warm-bowled pipe in your hand.
A feeling of peace.
