Info about my Dunkirk
I have a pipe I am trying to identify and am having trouble finding any information. I'm not completely sure if it is the maker or the name of the pipe. I have checked related sites. Any other suggestions or if you might be familiar with it.

Whitewash, France has been known for decades as a major producer of production pipes.
Taking a wild guess, I would say your pipe was made in Dunkirk France, or at the very least named after the city. It may simply be named after Dunkirk, without being manufactured in that particular city.
Judging from the metal fitment, I am guessing the stem may have a stinger, and your pipe might have been manufactured during the 1960's-1970's era.
When you are dealing with an obscure brand, sometimes they were manufactured by a major manufacturer, specifically for a mail order company or brick and mortar retailer/chain.
