Which picture hosting sites do you use?

Until I got back into piping, I had only really belonged to one other forum that I spent any amount of time on.  It's an aircraft owners and pilots site.  Posting a picture there is easy.  You can just search photos from your files, on you pc, and post em.

Here, and the other pipe sites, it seems that you must have an online site.

I am currently using photobucket but find it excruciatingly slow.

I know some folks use imugr and others.

Which ones are the easiest to us and, most importantly, which ones are faster than photobucket?

I use photobucket for one other forum. On this one I can place directly from files on my computer. I generally don't post photos from my phone or iPad.

Motie, some of the sites out there do not allow you to copy an image directly from your own computer.  The site's I'm referring to are also known as photo sharing sites and allow you to upload pictures from your mobile devices and personal computers.  They then offer varying formats/abilities for sharing such as email, IM, Direct, HTML & IMG(URL).

Photobucket, the one I use, is very slow, full of ads and popups, but does offer various printing options and such.

For my photo storage, I use Google Photos. It's a great solution that offers free and paid storage and does an amazing job of backing up the images on your phone! google.com/photos

I have Photobucket and Imgur accounts but most of the time I use the host on the Brothers of Briar board.

My website rustedrailimages.com is hosted through Zenfolio. I have some hidden folders where I can keep an unlimited number of photos to use in the blog or copy down when I need one for a post.

For forums, I tend to keep photos on my Google Drive most of which are smaller sized and lower quality.  It's also free and I can get to it easy from my phone.

I keep 86.8 MB of pipe smoking articles and pix on my MAC's hard drive, with a Time Machine back-up. I'm old.

I use to use Photobucket, but since the forums I post on all have the ability to download straight from my puter, I have gotten out of the habit of downloading pics to Photobucket. I believe Photobucket is much slower now than it was a few years ago, in order to encourage the purchase of a membership.

The truth is, even most die hard right wingers enjoy and expect free picture hosting.
