FDA effect on STG?

What effect will the regs the feds are handing down have on STG and what blends may be effected??

    @crapgame I know they put out a statement as soon as the Deeming Regulations came out in May. The major brands like this have been aware this was coming down the pipeline (pun intended) for awhile now and have strategies in place...as well as many lawyers. There will be many challenges to these regulations so we will have to wait to see how it all unfolds, what regulations stay, and which go.

    My personal thoughts are that the big brands are loving this as these regulations will wipe out most of the smaller competition. Any extremely popular blend from a small blender will probably be bought up by the big boys (since they have the money to file the paper work). So there will probably be less selection (available on a national level) but it's not the end of pipe tobacco.
