Playing with my children, 1995. The pipe is an Aldo Velani 21st Century, distributed by Mastercraft Pipes, Sparta, NC. At the time I was probably smoking Lane's Crown Achievement. It was my go-to tobacco for many years.

The earliest known photo of me with a pipe. 1975, going away party at 66th MI Group, Munich, FRG. I'd been a pipe smoker about 10 years by then, but can't seem to find any photos from earlier days. The pipe is a Svendborg from a small shop in Munich.
Say you want a Throwback Thursday ... I'll take you all the way back to when I was a two or three year old whippersnapper. My love of television was apparent at an early age. I look like a TV salesman.
