Paint Can Style Tin Cellaring (Comoy's/L.J. Peretti)

Any advice on long term storage of tobacco in the paint can style of tins? I have quite a few Comoy's and Peretti blends in the cellar with this style tin, with a couple pushing 4 years in the cellar. What's your opinion on storage with these types of tins?

I don't have any tins of tobacco like this but based on other products which comes in the same basic tin, I would say they should be fine for storing tobacco. If the lid fits tightly that is. It reminds me of a paint can and I know the seals on those are air tight.

I agree with @pappyjoe. I don't have any either, but as long as they are air tight they should be okay.

I have a tin of #5 as well. I bought it with the your same plan in mind. The #5 reviews on tobacco reviews kind of scare me though, it does not look to be a well loved blend. Let us know how she pairs with the Bulleit!

I have found that sometimes tobacco reviews are like movie reviews - what you get leaves you wondering if the reviewer saw the same movie.
