Can't find any free samples

Brand new to pipe smoking..have only tried captain black regular ...looking for something with more flavor..

    You aren't going to find any free samples from the tobacco vendors, especially under the new rules from the FDA. If you have a brick & mortar tobacconist near by, go there. If not, call one of the big etailers and have them help you set up a sampler. You can probably get an ounce each of 6-8 different blends for about $25.

    A shop is your best place to start. Most have the jars to fill a sample bowl but be kind and make sure you spend some real money if you want to be welcomed back.

    Find a local pipe club if you can and see if they accept new smokers. Almost all do and usually you'll see a welcome invitation on their website. Go there with your pipe and tobacco and mention your curiosity prepare to be overwhelmed by everyone offering you sample pipes full of their tobaccos.
