There was a great article called “ The communal nature of pipe smoking” in one of the blogs at smokingpipes.com by Andrew Wike in which he said "Think about Sixten Ivarsson, for example. No doubt, Sixten was a genius, but a genius who keeps his knowledge to himself isn't all that important in the grand scheme of things. Luckily the late Ivarsson did pass his knowledge down, not only to his son and granddaughter, but to a whole host of artisans — who then, in turn, passed their knowledge down to other pipe makers all around the globe." 

 That really cooked my grits for a while and it's really a call to arms for all of us - what am I doing with what I have been blessed with?  What am I doing to pass I the legacy I have been blessed with?
