Well if 10 of us went in together and paid $100 each we could each get 1/3 of an ounce. That would be right around 9 grams approx. so we could get roughly 3 (3 gram) bowls each (depending on your bowl size of course). HA HA HA. Sorry, I will need a sample first.
LoL! This tobacco has been a hot topic on the boards since it was featured at the CPCC show in May. It's done it's job generating clicks.
IMO I've have a much better tobacco presentation that came out when around the time Larsen sold to Davidoff. It's a two tone inlayed coffin housing a gold tone 100gr rectangular tin with the Larsen logo etched in and description of the flake that is topped with a whole oriental leaf on textured card stock. I thought I paid a fortune at something like $40 15 years ago.
The W.O.Larsen $1000 Tobacco sounds a bit like Sam Adams Utopia Limited Edition Beer. A few buddies and I were going to each chip in on a bottle, share the contents and draw straws for the empty bottle. Sadly it is dang tough to get in Montana, even in the "Big" city of Billings...still too "backwoods/backwater" I guess. I think the nearest place that it is available is Denver. Still working on getting a bottle though
You could take turns with the humidor and form a Tontine that the last one still living gets it. Or you could just say " There are literally over a thousand blends out there worldwide and save that one for last to try,".
@Woodsman I like your second idea, I will keep trying whats out there and if I win the lottery maybe I will get some W.O. Larsen 2015 limited release hand pressed.
