@Rshey1, this one is in the mail as we speak. A 38 gram Maigurs Knets Turtle that I picked up from Bobby Nesbitt at Two Friends Pipes. He always has some outstanding pieces, and is such a pleasure to do business with.
@Rshey1, thanks so much! Here is another example of Maigurs outstanding work. A bent turtle, with an ivory accent in the shank. This one is just a little heavier than I prefer at 58 grams, but another classic example of his turtle shaping. This one is currently available on Two Friends Pipes, in the estate section.
I am really looking forward to breaking in this little turtle. It is the 2nd Maigurs I have added to my collection. My first Maigurs, was a 1/8th bent stacked egg, I have posted in the bottom pic.
I really like the egg. Yeah, went to the website. They have some really interesting pipes.I'm curious how the turtle will smoke. You'll have to give an update when ya get it
@abcbill, that is a very unique GBD! I can't remember ever seeing one like that, and GBD's are one of my favorite marque's to collect. It reminds me of this Wally Frank Sweet Root I am working on restoring, which I picked up a few weeks ago.
I just ordered the MM Cobbit Shire, I'm super excited to get it. On Xmas I was enjoying a new tobacco & dropped my Savinelli Bing's Favorite & it snapped! I was crushed; but the much less expensive Shire is the MM Cobbit version of Bing's so I hope I love it as much.
@xDutchx Thank you, sir. Had to bid a bit more than I had budgeted--that said, I've got pipes AND pens enough for now...wanted to put a really noticable semi-colon on this part of the "sentence"...so to speak. So...other than this pipe and a "Christmas Gift Card" pen, it is "PPAPPR*" for a while... 8~)
*Personal Pen And Pipe Purchase Restriction"--self-imposed...
Santa and my wife were very good to me this year and I received a few new pipes for Chritmas which included the Peterson Limited Edition Dr. Jekyll & Mr. Hyde, a Big Ben 931 Jade, and two from EBAY - a very nice HS Studio Pipe, and a pear wood dragon claw pipe.

Bphasty, oh wow sorry to hear that. I've been thinking about getting the shire. I have 2 other MMs but not one of their larger pipes.
I do believe I need one. I have 6 tins coming from P&C
