Northeast Regional Smoking Contest

I was at the Northeast Regional Smoking Contest on Saturday, it's great to meet up with a large bunch of Pipers and have a look at all the Pipes and Tobacco on sale, good food and drink followed by the contest itself. It was a first for me and I was delighted that I finished in the top 25%. The contest is put on by a fantastic group that made everyone feel welcome. I'm looking forward to meeting up with some of them again soon.

Wappingers Falls, NY in a good sized Rod and Gun Club, it used to be in the Kaywoodie Factory but they moved to a smaller location.

Just outside of Fishkill. The contest is sponsored by the Hudson Valley Pipe Club. It is the second only to the national contest in Chicago in terms of number of participants in the contest.
