@PappyJoe Are those real?😳. If so, kinda disturbing. Although, Pepperoni has the spice fennel in it, which is what lends it the unique “black licorice” type flavor.
@Zouave My father loved blood sausage, me, not so much😖. My father was born in 1927, so he lived through The Great Depression. Old School Germans ate all of the pig….dang near. I was brought up “spoiled” by contrast. Thanks to his good job with the Northern Pacific, and then the Burlington Northern, I didn’t have to eat that nasty stuff, nor pork head-cheese either😖
@motie2 Who the heck has leftover Halloween candy to donate. It’s not like it goes bad or something….it’s friggin sugar. I have Laffy Taffy from…I don’t know…..5+ years ago. I still eat it when I decide I want some banana taffy. I’m not sure I can call it taffy anymore though, it’s more like rock candy. It still tastes good. You need to eat it a whole lot slower is all, let it soften up again😉
I outgrew candy a couple of decades ago. These days between meals snacking is largely of jerky….. Shoe leather tough jerky; mostly beef, but also salmon.
I served with this guy from West Virginia who would take fruit flavored taffy and put in jars of real moonshine (not the commercially produced stuff). He said it could smoothly out the shine.
Mmmmm Moonshine. That sounds like an easy way to make a “moonshine cocktail”.
I have a cousin and her hubby that are producing “300 Days of Shine” in Monument, Colorado “300 Days Distillers”. Mike is the head distiller and retired Army. I think he was SF and EOD. He served in Afghanistan and “other places”. I have been waiting for it to be distributed here in Montana, but Montana has some strange liquor laws. No “300 Days of Shine” for me…..yet. There is an interesting little intro/history on their website.

Same with 1q for me. I don't get it. Lane's best seller to me was a big letdown. Oh well to each his own.
I don’t think I would be comfortable carrying death around in my pocket. I have enough worries.
Not my cup of tea either, but there’s a market for macabre stuff. Consider meerschaum skull pipes….
Or, briar skull pipes like the one I have😉

Not real. That image was floating around the internet earlier this week.

Sure it is. Hickok45 does a great job at it
