I've been traveling a lot for work and get annoyed with the limited space I have to bring pipe and tobacco options. trying to fit everything safely into a carry on can be tedious. Does anyone have tips, tricks, or pipe recommendations that make traveling with a pipe easier? This can apply for camping and vacationing as well.

Go to the Walmart and in the travel section get you a toothbrush holder. They work great for keeping pipe cleaners, a mini bic lighter, and a tamper in. You can see it in this pic from my recent backpacking trip.

Accept the fact that you can't have as many options when you are traveling, and limit what you are taking with you. A couple of briars and a couple of cobs, plus two or three favorite blends, can take you a long way.

@josiahWN, summer of 2105 I spent a week in a rented cottage with my family. I drove, so took lots of pipes, but got by with 5 blends, and was quite content. All were great faves.

One thing I forgot to mention earlier: a lot of fellas swear by Falcons for traveling. 1 stem,  4 bowls in their carrying cases - you have 4 pipes.  I have not tried this myself,but I can see the advantages.

For last weekend, 2 Pipes, a pouch of McClelland's 5110 and 2 tins, lighter, pipe cleaners and a pipe nail.
