Are they around? I been smoking a pipe for a few months ave i currently have three  cheaper pipes, a straight cob, a billiard shape, and a full bent. It seems that when i smoke my straight pipes i get a bad "cool" something in my mouth which ive concluded is probably just a little saliva but is an unpleasant thing. When i smoke my bent pipe that doesnt seem to happen and its a much better smoking experience. Any imput? Also my bent pipe has a  smooth finish and is on the smaller side so it gets to hot to hold pretty quick. Also i really like smoking the cob because it has a flat bottom, so its convenient to set down... 

It seems like my ideal pipe would be a poker style  that has a bent stem...

I have had my eye on a petersom pipe because i like some other peterson items and they seem to have a nice quality. My question is, why is it hard to find a bent pipe with a flat bowl bottom? Lol

I might suggest that your problems may be due more to the cheap pipes and your relative inexperience than anything else. If your pipe is too hot to hold, you are smoking too fast. Slow down! It's not a race.Run a cleaner through the pipe when you are smoking, if it is a bit wet.Smoking inexpensive aromatics can also contribute to a wet smoke.

When it comes to bent pokers there aren't any.  There are sitters which can be almost any shape that has some type of a bottom that allows them to sit nicely.  When it comes to pokers, the bent versions are normally called cherrywood as they resemble pipes made from cherrywood and they normally have a "V" shape to them.  Here's a link to the search on smokingpipes.com  https://www.smokingpipes.com/search/main-search.cfm

I have several and love them.  To build on @judandhispipe pipecleaner the stem when it starts getting wet or dry out your tobacco for 30 minutes or more before loading it in the bowl so its not as wet.  Aromatics tend to smoke much wetter than other styles.
