Nice read. I think a lot of us share the same memory of the pipe tobacco smell from a father or grandfather when we were younger. Its a great memory to have.

I didn't get a chance to read the blog post until now @pappyjoe but I enjoyed reading it. I love reading about how people discovered pipe smoking, and it's one of the reasons why I decided to blog about pipes and pipe smoking. I'm glad you have the chance to pass on the tradition to your son and share those moments with him.
