Any Pipe Smoking Freemasons out there?
Just wondering if any Brothers of the Briar are also Brothers of the Craft, I meet a lot of freemasons at the NASPC Show because I wear a Masonic symbol on my vest so I just want to get an idea how many of you are on this forum, and if so, where and what lodge?

Hi pipeman83,
I'm one, I'm Past Master of Barrington Lodge, in Illinois and Past President of Northwest Suburban Shrine club. I have done a lot of things in our Craft and have enjoyed all of it I was raised in 1983 at the age of 25, and I'm looking forward to raising my son in early 2017. Our lodge has a few smokers nights, cigar and pipes, as does Medinah Temple. so nice meeting you Brother and I hope we meet someday as we travel toward the east. Anthony WPM
pipeman83 Nice to hear always glad when I hear about other Brother's being involved in our fine fraternity. Keep up the good work. Sad seems were the only 2 on this blog. Funny I remember the Brother that raised me was a pipe smoker, Captain Black man as I remember, good old Charlie Cormier WPM, lived well into his 80's. Best I can tell Masonry leads to long lives.
Here are a few pictures of the show and hall.

Pipeman83,
On June 1st, I will make 50 years as a Mason! Twice Master of my home lodge. Its great to know of other Brothers who are also brethren of the pipe!
May the Great Architect guide and protect all!

pipeman83, It's interesting how that happened, My Favorite Uncle was a Knight Of Columbus, and we went to a lot of there function's , which were always fun, and they did a lot of charitable works . So as a young man in business I wanted to do something like that as well, but my family were not Catholic . So I remembered all the times I went to the Shrine circus, and had a client who was a Shriner, and he showed me the way. That was 35 years ago, I was 25, and have enjoyed every minute of it. We just had Hospital day, at the Chicago unit of Shriner's Hospital and it still gives me a thrill to see the miracle's preformed at our Hospital.

I've seen quite a few Master Mason pipes. And although I'm sure their out there somewhere, I've never seen a Past Master's Master's meerschaum pipe. That would be cool...
