"Women's Pipes"

I've recently heard someone suggest that some pipes are "meant for a woman."

What are the characteristics that would set apart a pipe for women? If you have pictures, please share.

Some of the more delicate designs and smaller size meerschaum pipes are usually listed as ladies pipes on the websites. 

I would suggest you look there.

I only found one sales site that had a category for "women's pipes" and they were floral Meerschaums. I had visited that site several times, too, and never noticed the category at all. Thanks, @pappyjoe

Lots of women like smaller pipes.

I smoke the snot out of women's type pipes. I will take a dunhill group size 1 any day of the week! Smaller pipes make me slow down and enjoy the tobacco. Small pipes are easy to clinch, I smoke to ash, I waste no tobacco, and smaller pipes are pocketable.

Back in the late 60's to early 70's "Ladies Pipes" were in Pastel colors and had Rhinestones studding them.

I have made several pipes for women and yes they are usually small.This is one I just finished. A small briar churchwarden with a copper ring.

Normally I'll use a more colorful stem from lucite or some other acrylic but this ebonite stem happened to fit the style.

I don't know what the women prefer, but I think a lady with a churchwarden is pretty damn hot
