McClelland Virginia Woods lovers

I feel like McClelland Virginia Woods tends to be a polarizing blend when I talk to people.  I happen to love it, and would love to know if anyone knows of other matured virginia blends that I might like similar to Virginia Woods?

Also,  It is part of their Craftsbury line and I was wondering if it is pre-2007.

  • I've enjoyed Virginia Woods. Got a couple of tins stashed for aging.
The oldest review on TobaccoReviews dates to 2001. That's the easy way to find out.

This was one of the blends that started me on the road to Virginias. From what I could tell the arguments surrounded those who labeled it an aromatic ( some part of the I only smoke pure Virginias clan.) , those who said nonaromatic or I am not sure and folks who did not care enjoying it for its own sake. Pipe tobacco smokers are pretty funny folks sometimes.

I have an unopened tin but can't wait to try it.  Just ordered and received Sutliff's Black Stoved Virginia, and it is good, but not like McClellands.  Hang on to Virginia Woods if you have it.
