Who's the Maker?

I picked up a couple of pipes cheap on Ebay mainly because of the curled stems. I have been trying to figure out the pipe makers name. It has Israel and Burled Briar stamped on the shank and the makers name but I can't seem to make it out. Here are some pics.... any ideas? I have looked at Pipedia already.

For my money, it looks like a Vintage Masterson Burl Briar Tobacco Pipe (Israel), with a custom stem.

Very unique and great looking pipe, should be quite a conversation starter - but a real bitch to get a pipe cleaner through.
