I have been driving about 20 miles to the closest B&M to pick up my tins and I was thinking about doing some online shopping for a bigger variety. Any advice on where to start would be appreciated.

smokingpipes.com is good also. Good people, once sent me wrong tin, replaced it and let me keep the tin of tobacco I didn't order. I have placed many orders with both pipesandcigars.com and smokingpipes.com and have had excellent service with each.

I have used both, although probably P&C more than SP. I've also used 4Noggins, Mars, JR Cigar, and Iwan Ries.

I've been ordering all of my tobacco from P&C because I live in PA and that's where they're based out of. Maybe someone else can correct me, but I was told by a cigarette smoker that if I would purchase tobacco on line from out of state, I would have to pay back taxes on all of the purchased tobacco at the end of the year. I'd much rather pay it as I go rather than in a lump sum at the end of the year.
Is there anyone on here that can confirm or deny this?

@surpressedrage, you are supposed to pay the state sales tax on out of state purchases over the internet of any sort.

Like most I normally use smokingpipes.com and pipesandcigars.com. I also have been very happy with milantobacco.com and they are a smaller store so I can sometimes find things there I can't elsewhere

Like many here I have used Pipes and Cigars, Smoking Pipes, and Tobacco Pipes. I feel that they are all great sites and often if the blend you are looking for is out on one of them that others may have them.

Thank you all for the feed back I will be placing my first online order some time this week but as for today I will just be making the drive to the B&M in Athens to check out some pipes and pick up a few more tins.

http://www.justforhim.com/catalog/ is a great place too...their "Shortcut to Mushrooms" is excellent!

In addition to smokingpipes.com, pipesandcigars.com, and tobaccopipes.com, i am surprised that nobody has mentioned thepipeguys.com 

they have a good selection of both pipes and tobaccos. Great services as well.

Smokingpipes.com for me is my main source. Great selection and never had a problem. I used Pipesandcigars.com a couple of times, great tobacco selection , but was not impressed with their packing/packaging on one order I received from them. Had god experience with thepipeguys as well the one time I made an order with them.

I'm a die-hard for Pipes & cigars website, if you set up an account they'll track your purchase history, favorites & bombard you with offers, deals & coupons. I've taken advantage of quite a few in my short pipe-history.
