Melange Blends

Some blenders have a real talent for bringing together a variety of tobaccos that I wouldn't imagine I'd enjoy together into a blend that really is enjoyable and still showcases all the components. I call these 'melange' blends.

Any suggestions for this kind of blend?

For myself, I enjoy Russ Oulette's EL NINO blend. It has a little bit of everything (he has hinted that there might even be a pinch of Latakia in it, as several people have thought they detected a little and asked), but he pulls it off. I don't know that I would say it has a ton of depth and complexity, but it certainly seems to me as if it has a lot going on at the same time. (Maybe that IS depth and complexity, lol.)

The Country Squire has some very good blends.

@tomatobohdi they have good descriptions on their website. I would just read them and pick what you think sounds good. I've had Parsons Blend, Cherokee, Flambeau, and most of their Middle Earth blends. They also do my private blends, Senior Chief was a blend of the month last year.
