Blends you'll miss

Over the years many a favorite blend has come and gone. Sobranie, edgeworth, etc... What with the new regulations, tens if not hundreds of blends will go missing over the next two years. In fact it has already started happening. Warhorse, Bengal slices,(both reboots of ancient blends), all the John Cotton blends, in fact anything marketed after 2007 is on the chopping block. It may also be that L. J. Peretti, Milan Tobacconists, and others will cease to sell some if not all of their blends.
Just wondering, what blends will you miss the most after they are gone?

If it happens, they can do something, brain dead moment, to get a blend approved, I think I will miss Frog Morton's Cellar the most.

I'm still hoping. But after the ipcpr fda panel it ain't lookin good.
I agree with you re: frog Morton. I'll add gaslight and pirate cake to that list.

@lesliesrussell I forgot about those.  At least the other Frog Morton's are safe just not Cellar

I'll miss the newer peach blends along with the Cult line...yes, I'm a sucker for a goopy aromatic.

I'm carefully adding blends that are apt to disappear to my stash. I'll continue to explore older blends, too - a lot of blends from the smaller UK houses have been around - and available on this side of the pond - for years.

One I did not mention that I will miss for sure is Dunhill Baby's Bottom - sold as MM Baby's Bottom. This is an elegant blend that I enjoy a lot. Will be grabbing more.

Is the sky falling? Sure there have been a few new blends issued every were but I don't think it average more than 20 or 25 blends. So that is maybe 200 blends and not all of them were that good. Do you realize how many good blends were on the market in 2007. I would guess a thousand at least. There are plenty old blends to explore.

I'll have plenty of older blends to explore - much of my rotation is safe. I intend to have some of the newer blends on hand, because some of them are very good indeed.

I'll miss the Newminster blends that I've come to enjoy, the company is a little over a year old.

What is going to happen with small batch blends? The way I understand it, it will be too costly to go through the approval process for small/limited blends. That is what I will miss the most as I don't have any " go to" blends. I like variety, and have not bought any tobacco more than once.

The one I will miss the most is Gaywith Scottish Autmn... I can't even find it now!! If anybody knows wher some is available please let me know.
