While reading through Lord of the Rings the Fellowship of the Ring, I noticed on the map contained within the book that there was a little town in the Shire named Frogmorton.  I always thought that McClelland's Frogmorton was an interesting name but did not realize that it was a namesake from the Tolkien Universe.  

I wanted to create a thread for interesting facts about the names and artwork of different tobacco blends, be them tinned or bulk.  I titled the discussion "Tin Trivia" for the alliterative reasons.

McClelland's has several blends with LotR inspired names,@subtilis87. Grey Havens comes immediately to mind.

Lane's HGL blend is named after Herman Lane who, back in the day, needed a less stinky latakia blend while cruising around the office staff. Or so I've been told.
