Does anyone have any experience with buying match tobacco on p&c? I'm thinking of trying some of their copy bulk, I'd like to know if it's going to be semi-close or not before hand.

I love their match Barking Dog, though I have not had the original to compare to.

I can only relate an experience I had.
I never smoked the old Edgeworth Ready Rubbed.  I have been been smoking Lane Ready Rubbed, which is, according to Lane, the same blend,since they were the ones making Edgeworth. A friend was trying the match version. We swapped samples. The match had a bit stronger molasses flavor that LRR. Both were pretty good.
I would venture to say that unless you have smoked a lot of the original,or have smoked it recently, you probably won't be able to tell the difference. Buy an ounce. Blow $2.25. Find out for yourself.
