Royal Yacht always gets me dizzy. Just can't put it down though. Made the mistake of trying to break in a Nording Freehand with a full bowl of the Yacht.

I had what competitive eaters call a "reversal". Or I could have joined the Romans at the Effluvium.

@CretinDan, wow, that does NOT sound like a good time! I once purchased a tin of Royal Yacht and I ended up giving it away because I would stand up and be weak in the knees.

I am an avid ligero cigar smoker I have not found a pipe tobacco that has put me down yet

Nightcap; Peterson Irish Flake, which I like the flavor of, but didn't like the nic hit.
I never smoked cigs; I smoke for flavor, not nicotine.

I have yet to discover a pipe tobacco that does that to me. Again, now I have to search for one. Thanks guys.

Irish Flake made me a little dizzy when I first smoked it but now it's not that big of a deal. Just smoke it really slowly now after I have eaten. G&H Brown Twist Sliced Is pretty heavy on nicotine but it hasn't put me down yet.

@PipeProfessor I assure you, the first time I had it, and had that issue, it was not a lot of fun. But i girded my loins and tried again, puffing much slower this time, and absolutely fell in love with the Yacht!

Pipe tobacco, none.  Cigars...  I like them about as strong as they come and like @abreathawayfromglory I like ligero and have been put on my ass a few times because I didn't eat beforehand and once even when I did, but it was a damn good cigar.  I find that now that I quick cigarettes I am a little more sensitive to nicotine but I also don't huff it down like a freight train anymore so its not as bad.

So far I haven't found one, maybe I just spent too many years as a cigarette smoker?  Do you find the vitamin N affects flavor or is it more of a head feeling?

It rarely happens to me, but when it does, I usually start to get the hiccups, before I break a head sweat. If I pace myself, I can control the need to go lay down in front of a fan. For me, 2 blends that come to mind to be cautious with, are Royal Yacht, and Gawith and Hoggarth Brown Irish X. Most of the rope tobacco I have sampled, always give good value for the money.

Have yet to find one, some of the G &H ropes are close but I smoked and chewed a lot of barn Burley growing up

I'm with some of the other guys. I don't necessarily like the nic hit, just the flavor.
Dunhill Nightcap kicks my butt. I'm gonna have to smoke this one on a full stomach.
