May I humbly suggest that when you mention blends, fellow pipers, you mention the blender as well? Of the 6 mentioned in the 2 previous posts, I can identify only 3 for sure.  There is one I think I know,and the other two I never heard of.

Virginia Squire and Quadruple Virginia are John Patton blends, available at 4noggins.

This changes but as of right now my favorites are Peter Stokkebye Luxury Twist Flake, SG Best Brown Flake, Golden Sliced and Escudo Navy Deluxe.

My favorite straight Virginia right now is Gawith And Hoggarth Kendal Gold. It changes my opinion about Virgina tobacco.  Well straight unflavored Virginas.
