Hello from South East Texas
Not sure how I found this page, but here I am. I'm an on again, off again piper of some 40 years (mostly off) but I pitched the cigarettes a few months back, took up cigars (very messy in the car) and have now transitioned to full time pipe smoking with a stick thrown in here and there. I had some old Dr. Grabow pipes that I'd picked picked up at Walgreen's through the years, some estates from eBay and I've kind of fallen for the Morgan Bones line recently adding 4 to the rotation in quick succession. I smoke mostly codger blends, Carter Hall, Granger and the like. Though an English in the early morning is a treat as well.
I also like walks on the beach, hand holding and... Oh NO! wrong forum... sorry lads.
Looking forward to learning from everyone here.

Enjoy yourself here. Mostly a good bunch of guys….
Welcome to the nuthouse!
Feel free to jump right in all the conversations. We are a good group, mostly 🤪
I’m most likely “that guy” that the “mostly good group” doesn’t apply too😬
Howdy,
But what part of Southeast Texas are you from?
Welcome and have fun!
Codger blends have stood the test of time as have Dr. Grabow pipes. I smoke a lot of the old drug store tobacs. I have more pipes than I need and more tobac sealed in Mason Jars than I'll ever smoke. I forgot where I was going with this. Anyway, welcome to the brotherhood.
Get comfortable with the blogs format and we look forward to hearing more from you...
FYI: St. Louis area here...
were the only tobaccos available.
