Falcon Pipes

I have always wondered about Falcon pipes and one of my kids bought me an estate pipe rack and several pipes, including 2 Falcon stems and three bowls.  After cleaning them up and doing a little reading, I formed my own filters out of a pipe cleaner.  I must say, I am impressed.  I hate that I waited so long to get one.

I found the same to be true. I have several and a few extra bowls.

I have one and think that it is a good pipe, not the best but ok.

My Falcon smokes ok, the fit and finish sucks though.  The aluminum part looks like it only made it halfway through the manufacturing/finishing process.

I have one stem and bowl and do smoke it from time to time. It's a pretty decent smoker.

Unless you keep up on them a Falcon can develop a pretty awful taste if you don't unscrew the briar bowl and wipe out that metal reservoir after a few smokes. Otherwise you end up with a sticky tar-like substance that tastes as bad as it smells.
