Even though the Opening Ceremonies won't be seen in the U.S. until this weekend, some Olympic events have already been happening.
I've watch the U.S. Mixed Curling team. one of the preliminary rounds of Men's Downhill and some of the Women's Moguls.

Watched the first two rounds of mixed doubles curling--the U.S. team didn't look confident at all in their shot placement. Home all day today except for a slight diversion to Walmart later, so I'll catch up.
But the US vs Sweden match was good..

I just watch some of the sporting events, I pass on the social & political commentary. I don't even like most of the figure skating events because the scoring is subjective and open to the bias of the judges. At least in the snowboarding events it easier to understand the scoring because of the deductions for mistakes.

I’m on board with that. In fact, I was going to mention how much I liked Curling Beavers….but I resisted. Someone brings out the reprobate in me😈
I stopped watching mixed doubles curling when the US lost to Switzerland and fell to 3 and 4, basically putting them out of medal contention. The American chick was very cute--for some reason, large probosci on blonds is attractive to me.

There were certainly a few fat curlers, but then, it's an all-inclusive sport!
