He wasn't a pipe smoker that I am aware of, but, IMHO, he's more than worthy of mentioning... I received this today in my DAV magazine.

He was an amazing man. His accomplishments are examples of what makes this country great, one individual's contribution at a time.

Aye, there are not many that accomplished so much in the course of freedom and the furtherance of exploration of the skies! Men like the Gen will be missed for their leadership. R.I.P. General, thank you for your service and sacrifice. Huzzah! Huzzah! Huzzah!
