I call the company they said could be the same thing. Sprayed it with bug killer they said it was ok. Also I learned you can freeze cigars to kill any bugs
I have seen some cigars with bug infestations, there will be little pin-holes in your cigars. I have read that there can be bug eggs in cigars, when they are stored at too high of a temperature, the eggs hatch..oh-oh=bugs. The "leavings" I have seen look like snuff. The pictures you have posted looks like the substance is white, and kinda looks like styrofoam to me also, @ghostsofpompeii. Bug Spray in/on the humidor, sounds bad unless it is some kind that is odorless and not poisonous to humans.
IF I had a humidor like that, I would take all the cigars out of it, spray it down with an insecticide and then leave it sit open until all noticeable smell is gone. After that I would wipe it down real good with distilled water and let it dry before putting the cigars back in there.
@DavidR002 Building on your "freeze the cigars" method of eradicating bugs/worms/eggs. Do you happen to live in the North where it can get below freezing outside? Empty out the humidor, freeze your cigars and drag that baby outside in the middle of January at -10F and do them in that way
Thanks for the help. I talked to the owner of the humidor manufacturing Co. It was some kind of bugs. As some suggested, he said it was ok to spray it good with insecticide. So far so good. I will wipe it down with distilled water. Thanks again
@Balisong I’ve though about it. It would be a simple tasty snack, deep fry, add a light chili lime or other tasty seasoning salt. Snap, Crackle, Pop. Next on the menu..🦗🦂🐜🐌🐍🐛🕷? Actually I have already tried prairie rattler and escargot, the escargot was better. Ants are suppose to taste citrusy, my little brother tried a big red/black one when we were out camping, the dummy did not pinch its head first....it latched onto his tongue😂😂😂😂. He did comment that it tasted lemony👍🏻
Well, let's hope they're not the 17-year kind of locusts. Those things will blacken your sky from horizon to horizon when they're swarming, about like the flocks of Passenger Pigeons did a couple of centuries ago.
@KA9FFJ I’ve been watching the grasshoppers in the backyard and have been tempted to string a few on a bamboo skewer and roast them up. I’m not quite there yet.

You spilled your coke😬
No offense, just a joke.
And I have no idea.
I'm with RockyMountainBriar, I have no idea. How long did it take to reappear?
But you don’t want such around cigars... unless you want them “flavored.”

Is it lah-TAH-kee-yah or lah-tah-KEE-yah?
Opinions vary........
You could be smokin some dead bugs. Eeew
I give my ducks and turkey a handful of mealworms a day. They love them! BTW they're easy and cheap to grow.

How was the 🐛? I saw where they are canned in tomato sauce in Australia.
