Back again

The last time I posted and visited here was back at the end of September. At that time I was about to retire. Well I did retire but retirement had plans for me other than my plans. My mother in law became terminally ill and we ended up doing in home hospice with no help from my wife’s family. Then my wife was diagnosed with a tumor in her brain. But all is fine now and we hopefully we will get back to somewhat normal life now. Can’t say normal due to all that is going right now. But it is good to enjoy a quiet and relaxing time with my pipe, favorite beverage and reading this forum!

Good to hear you've gotten to the other side of a difficult time. It has been my experience  that real happiness is found in what you do for others. Let's hope that when our time is near, we have someone like yourself to help us crossover. God bless!

Man, that’s a tough stretch. Can’t imagine.

And I was feeling sorry for myself about busting up my ankle back in late September!

Good to have pipe tobacco and a few like-minded souls to lean on. I’m also trying to be more connected with the group.
