Starting to get ready for the show... I already submitted my money for a table. Where else can one sit, light up a bowl and watch 100s of pipe smokers walk by? Not to mention the good conversations and plethora of pipes and tobaccos...
@Kmhartle Being your SWMBOs birthday, I would understand. BUT, sure would like to give an eye to eye if you get a chance...:)
@RockyMountainBriar Yep, everything you see there will be for sale. and very reasonably priced IMHO... I still have a few more pipes I'm working on at the moment to add to the mix, but generally speaking, what you see there is just about it. And yes, I have been busy...:) Again, Labor of love...
Just got off the phone with Harry, the head of the pipe show. The official flier was received by most Sat., the 4th. In less than 11 days, all but 3 1/2 tables are taken! He also confirmed that Lane would be there as usual, so I have a good chance to pick up a few more TPL pins from Leonard for some of you that may want one...
Well I told you guys I was working on a few more pipes for the show. Here's 3 more I'm adding and still have 3 or 4 more I hope to complete in time for the show...
@Corey562 Thanks brother. I found 16 of your cards that I didn't know I had while starting to prep for the show. I will have them on my table for those looking for new pipes...
Ok, that's it! I just finished up 3 more pipes and I'm putting myself on break until packing it all up Friday night. Here's my last 3 for the show... The bottom 2 are CAOs... Please stop and say hello if you're able to make it...
Last call for the pipe show tomorrow! Clear and bitter cold here today, but a complete turnaround tomorrow with a high predicted to be 50°! So hopefully I'll get to say hello to a few of our brothers, and remember to take some pics of the event which I plan on sharing here at TPL...
Tnx @RockyMountainBriar My objective is to get enough money to put back into the restoration hobby, and maybe a pipe or two and some tobacco for the rest of the year... 🤞
BIG day yesterday! More people this year than last year! I'll feed a few pics at a time. Quite a crowd. Please excuse the blurriness, but you get the idea...
We were so busy even @Leonard had a hard time finding a break... (that's Max Syokkebye in the background)... Sidenote: picked up 2 bags of LL7 at the table there later that day...
I didn't go crazy at the show. First of all, I had barely enough time to take a few pics and visit the boys room occasionally. It really was just that busy. But as the show was winding down, I found myself with some time to wander thorough the tables and drool. But this is all I came away with (beside the earnings from all my pipes): Little functioning cob with 150 year card... free 3 TPL pins... free MM foam can holder... free Approx. 4 oz. Lane tobacco... $2 bucks MM Emerald bent... CHEAP Paronelli squashed tomato... their cost... (promised not to disclose the prices). I can say this, total spent was $47.00! As I said, as far as spending, I displayed an unusual amount of restraint, while having an absolutely GREAT time...

If you are going to be selling all of those, you have been quite busy. I’d love to go, but just too far and probably too icy.
