Edward G Robinson tobacco blend I bought some of this on a recommendation and it is excellent ,small amount of Latakia but it is an all time blend I highly recommend. I was wondering if anyone else had any comments on the tobacco. It’s a blend revived from the 30s or 40s I’m sure it is going to be my go to blend, any comments

I am glad you like the EGR blend, @Ralphum. It is a nice light burley aromatic. It is always exciting when you find a blend that meets your flavor, strength, and room note preference.

@Ralphum, I love this blend as well. It’s one that I’m stocking up on. I like how it’s subtle in every way... not too much of any one ingredient. Very smokable. Like you, I’m glad I heard about this classic blend.

I tried it more than a year ago. As I remember it, I sent it on to another TPLer. Pfui IMHO

@motie2 And that TPLer was me. Even though I'm not a big fan of Latakia blends the amount is slight enough for me to be able to enjoy. I actually find it quite comparable to the tinned Captain Black "Black Sea" blend which also has a small amount of Latakia. Both are perfect blends for someone raised on aromatics who want to ease into English blends.
