Hmmmm... all of those sound really good. Unfortunately, Peter Stokkebye is not very prevalent in my stash and I have only ever tried the Highland Whisky, not bad, and Sambuca which is my favorite so far.
Funny you bring this up, I just received my order of PS Bullseye Flake (8oz) and PS Luxury Navy Flake (8oz) last night :-) These 2 are for my cellar/post FDA tobacco apocalypse stash. I cant tell which one I like more but I can say that both are best out of a cob. I haven't tried the twist flake yet...
Peter (RIP) was a fun and very gregarious . He did a couple of in store presentations for our MAPS club and I knew him from pipe shows. His presentation would include a slide show (this was a few years before power points) a quiz on the slide show for one of his high grade PS pipes with the solid gold trademark carved by Dane Jorgen Larsen and a Aquavit toast with a hearty SKOL! Over the years before he passed away would always remember me and kid me about the time I brought a very large pipe for a free fill at a presentation.
Deluxe Navy Bullseye English Luxury But I smoke more of the #83 Amsterdam because I use it to roll cigs and in the pipe. I also use a lot of 701 Virginia, Dark Fired, Latakia and Perique for blending, all from PS all very good.
I finally tried out proper english last night and I was blown away, it is an amazing smoke! I had bought 8 oz back when p&c had their sale and I'm wishing I had ordered more-that is one blend that will be a mainstay in my cellar.
I too, love Bull's Eye. It is a wonderful refreshing and sweet smoke and a regular part of my summer rotation. I have also smoked Balkan Supreme and was impressed.
